🏥 What is it?
The Private Health Insurance benefit allows you to use your Cafeteria Budget or Bonus Budget to obtain reimbursement for premiums you have already paid for an individual health insurance policy.
The insurance must:
be taken out in your own name;
have been concluded with an authorised Belgian insurer;
concern hospitalisation insurance, supplementary outpatient coverage, or private dental insurance.
📢 This benefit is different from the Collective Health Insurance Extension. Both benefits can be available at the same time in RewardFlex.
📅 Which premiums can be reimbursed?
Only premiums already paid during:
the current calendar year;
or the previous calendar year;
can be reimbursed.
Future premiums are not eligible. A premium that has already been reimbursed during a previous period cannot be submitted a second time.
📝 How to submit a request?
1️⃣ Log in to RewardFlex.
2️⃣ Open the Benefits tab.
3️⃣ Select Private Health Insurance in the Health Insurance submenu.
4️⃣ Enter the requested information about your insurance and the premiums paid.
5️⃣ Add the required documents:
proof of payment (bank statement);
the first page of your insurance policy, including your identity, the type of coverage, and the insurer's contact details.
6️⃣ Check the information entered.
7️⃣ Click on Validate.
✅ After validation
Once your request has been approved:
the amount actually paid is deducted from your budget;
the reimbursement is paid via your payslip.
