🚲 What is it?
The Bike Leasing service allows you to finance a bike through a long-term rental using your Cafeteria Plan.
The leasing contract is concluded with Joule, generally for a period of 36 months. The bike remains the property of the leasing company during this period. At the end of the contract, a purchase option may be offered to you.
The bike is ordered directly through Joule, from a partner dealer. RewardFlex allows you to track the steps of the request and deduct the monthly leasing amount from your budget.
Note: the Joule service must be activated by your employer for you to access it. If you do not see the Bike Leasing section in RewardFlex, contact your manager.
📝 How to request your bike leasing via Lease a Bike?
🛒 Step 1 - Submit your request
From your RewardFlex account, go to the Benefits tab and access the Bike Leasing section. You are automatically redirected to the Joule portal dedicated to your company, without needing to create an account.
On the Joule portal, you can:
Choose your bike and the desired options
Select the duration of your leasing
Submit your request
⏳ Step 2 - Joule validates your order
Joule manually reviews your request. This process takes up to 24 hours.
Once your request has been validated, you receive an email inviting you to confirm your order in RewardFlex.
👀 Step 3 - Review and confirm your order in RewardFlex
Click on the link received by email to access your order summary in RewardFlex. You will find:
The selected bike and options
The monthly price and leasing duration
The Joule policy document
You can then confirm or cancel your order.
✅ If you confirm: the request is sent to your employer for approval.
❌ If you cancel: the request is closed and Joule is notified.
🤝 Step 4 - Approval by your employer
Your employer receives your request and can approve or reject it.
✅ If your employer approves: your leasing is confirmed and Joule prepares the delivery of your bike. You receive a confirmation notification.
❌ If your employer rejects: you receive a notification and your budget is released.
🚴 Step 5 - Delivery and start of the leasing
When your bike is delivered, RewardFlex is automatically notified. From that moment:
The leasing officially starts
The monthly cost is automatically deducted from your wallet, from the 1st day of the month following delivery
The bike appears in your RewardFlex profile
