🩺 What is it?
Thanks to the “Collective Health Insurance Extension” service in RewardFlex, you can use your cafeteria budget to add your dependents (spouse, children, etc.) to your existing collective health insurance.
👉 This extension allows you to provide your family with the same coverage you receive as an employee.
👉 Everything is managed directly by your employer with the insurer.
⚡ What impact does it have for you?
You simply select the extension option via RewardFlex.
Your employer handles all procedures and contacts with the insurer.
No personal payment or supporting documents are required.
The corresponding amount is deducted from your cafeteria budget.
✅ No social security contributions are applied.
⚠️ The amount is taxable (subject to payroll withholding).
📝 How to submit a request in RewardFlex
1️⃣ Log in to my.rewardflex.be
2️⃣ Under Services, select Health Insurance.
3️⃣ Choose the people to add (spouse, children, etc.) and confirm your selection.
4️⃣ Check the total amount corresponding to the extension.
5️⃣ Click Confirm.
🔎 Tracking your request
In the Expenses tab, you will see the status of your request:
🔎 Pending → awaiting validation by your employer
✅ Approved → extension sent to the insurer
❌ Rejected → you will receive an explanation
📦 After approval
Once the request is approved:
The amount is deducted from your cafeteria budget.
The employer confirms the coverage extension with the insurer.
