Practical Guide – Purchasing Additional Leave Days via Your Cafeteria Plan in RewardFlex

🏝️ What is it?

Thanks to the “Additional Leave” service in RewardFlex, you can use your cafeteria budget to purchase extra leave days in addition to your statutory leave.

👉 The number of days available is set by your employer.
👉 These days must be taken within the current year, according to internal planning rules.


⚡ What impact does it have for you?

  • You submit your request directly via RewardFlex.

  • Your leave balance is then updated by your employer.

  • The corresponding amount is deducted from your cafeteria budget.

  • The price corresponds to a full day of compensation (salary + employer contributions).

  • ⚠️ Purchased days are subject to social security contributions and taxes (no tax optimization).

💡 The main benefit lies in the flexibility offered: you can enjoy more time off according to your personal needs.


📝 How to submit a request in RewardFlex

1️⃣ Log in to my.rewardflex.be.

2️⃣ Under Services, select Extra holidays.

3️⃣ Click Request extra holidays.


4️⃣ Enter the number of days you wish to purchase.


5️⃣ Check the total amount that will be deducted from your budget.


6️⃣ Click Validate.


🔎 Tracking your request

In the Expenses tab, you will see the status:

  • 🔎 Pending → awaiting validation by your employer

  • Approved → confirmed, your leave balance will be updated

  • Rejected → you will receive an explanation


📦 After approval

Once the request is approved:

  • The amount is deducted from your cafeteria budget.

  • Your employer updates your leave balance in the HR system.
