Practical Guide – Purchasing IT hardware via your cafeteria plan in RewardFlex

💻 What is it ?

With the "IT Hardware" service in RewardFlex, you can use your cafeteria budget to acquire:

  • 💻 a computer

  • 📳 a smartphone

  • 📱 a tablet

  • 🎧 IT accessories

👉 The device belongs to your employer for 24 to 36 months (depreciation period).
👉 At the end of this period, you can buy it at its residual value.


⚡ What does this means for you ?

  • You choose your device from a supplier authorized by your employer.

  • Your employer takes care of the order and payment.

  • The total amount is deducted from your cafeteria budget.

  • You can have a maximum of 2 active devices per category (except IT accessories, which are unlimited).

  • IT accessories are limited to 20% of the value of the main device (computer, phone, or tablet).

  • A flat-rate benefit in kind (BIK) is added to your payslip:

📝 How to submit a request in Rewardflex ?

1️⃣ Check with your employer for the list of authorized suppliers.

2️⃣ Choose your device on the supplier’s website and copy the product link.

3️⃣ Log in to my.rewardflex.be.

4️⃣ Go to Services → IT Equipment → and select the device.


5️⃣ Click on Request a purchase.


6️⃣ Paste the product link in "vendor link" and complete the requested information.

7️⃣ Click Validate.


🔎 Tracking your request

In the "Expenses" tab, you can see the status of your request:

  • 🔎 Pending → awaiting employer approval

  • Approved → approved, the order will be placed

  • Rejected → you will receive an explanation


📦 Delivery

After your request is approved by your employer:

  • The amount is deducted from your budget.

  • Your employer orders the device from the supplier.

  • The device is delivered to your home or office.
